Bio
Jedediah Berry, raised in that part of New York State known as the Land of Rip Van Winkle, recently woke up in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts, where he works as Assistant Editor of Small Beer Press. His first novel, The Manual of Detection, is forthcoming from The Penguin Press in February 2009.
His short story "Inheritance," originally published in Fairy Tale Review, was chosen by guest editor Richard Bausch for inclusion in Best New American Voices 2008. Another story, "Minus, His Heart," was published in Chicago Review, and will appear in Best American Fantasy 2008
